Praying Scripture: Ephesians 3
"Rejoice always,
pray without ceasing,
in everything give thanks;
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Praying scripture is one of the easiest, and most beneficial ways we can pray! For we know that the Word of God is living and breathing and active, but also that His wonderful words put into prayers delight His heart. He loves it when we pray His words back to Him! He loves answering those prayers too.
In this prayer, we will be praying Ephesians 3 (and a small portion of Philippians), asking the Lord for strength in our spirit. We know that the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. When we pray for a strengthened spirit we are asking that the Lord increases our spiritual man to overcome the weakness of the flesh. It's an important prayer!
This prayer also focuses on Jesus Christ and being rooted in Him, knowing Him, and having a greater understanding of His love for us. Write this down and pray it over yourself, your children, and loved ones!
Heavenly Father, grant to me, according to the riches of Your glory,
that I be strengthened with might through Your Spirit in my inner man.
Give me exceeding faith in Christ, being rooted and grounded in love --
to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge;
that I may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Work out Your power in me and give to me
exceedingly above all that I ask or think.
Grant to me comprehension with all the saints what is the width
and length and depth of You, Your Spirit, Your love.
Amen
With joy always,
Jessica
